Kangas Sauna

Love the sauna, it was very hot which is great! Change room could have better ventilation because it was way too warm.

Cozy and casual, breakfast fare, soups, and sandwiches. Fair service and pricing.

Good service and good food

It's good. Ate there three hours ago and debating going back. Really not feeling cooking today. Had a late night at the Apollo last night, watched this deadly band called Johnny two fingers and the deformities that was out of control. Would give them five stars. Bought a shirt but they only had mediums left so it's going to be a bit tight, so probably not going back to Kangas because I should really slim down a bit. My girlfriend wants us to go to Croatia this summer and I gotta lose the beer gut, you know? I was there once and lots of really nice beaches and fresh grilled fish and delicious salads. Croatia also gets five stars. Kangas only four stars, just standard diner food. Think the laundry is done now.

My new favorite lunch place. Very cozy. Staff is friendly. Even when busy, you don't wait long for a seat. The food is always great, with good sized portions. Fair prices. And best of all, it's a long established local business.

The room was kinda hot. Bed was a little small. Not the best hotel out there but it does the trick.

Such a great place to unwind. I like to go here to soothe sore muscles and clear my mind. The staff is friendly and I've never had to wait. Pro tip...get a bucket of ice!!! Just ask before you go to your sauna.

Nice place to get a good breakfast and an hour and a half of hot air and steam. The private saunas are very relaxing.

Leaves you feeling refreshed and ready to take on the rest of your day, week, month, etc. - the saunas and hot tub, that is. A lovely plant-surrounded pond adjacent the hot tub seals the relaxing environment. I look forward to trying their restaurant on my next visit!

Enjoyed the sauna a lot. Saunas are clean & prepared for guests, find them cozy too. The sauna got up to a decent temp (not as hot as a woodstove) but hot enough to enjoy. Rooms include their own showers and a change/relax room so you can cycle multiple times sauna, well worth the affordable price of $22 for 1.5 hrs!

WHAT A JOKE!! Ordered the steak and eggs... got a hamburger patty and eggs. There was a cheerful and smiling new woman who asked if we could like anymore coffee. And the lady in the kitchen who openly swears about her coworkers needs a good lesson in customer service etiquette... needless to say we will not be coming back anytime soon.

Good home cooked comfort food. Excellent pancakes, good poached eggs, tasty sandwiches with generous portions. Try the saunas too!

Great place to eat and I guess get a sauna. Who doesn't want to eat and sauna in the same place. But the food is really good. Great breakfast and deserts.

Private saunas rooms that are clean and service is great. Prices have went up but with the cost of electricity nowadays I don't blame them. Breakfast is fast but the food is so-so.

Hadn't been in way too long of a time. As always the food was delicious and very ample. Let the cook decide what to put in your omelette!

This place is awesome and one of the best in town. If anyone wants to spend an hour to get relaxed from a tension free world, this is the place you have to look at first.They have different levels of comfort rooms from small to medium. Sauna temperature is always accurate when we add more water. You can carry water for drinking or you can ask them if necessary.Overall ambience and service is really appreciated too.Honestly, who don’t want to get rejuvenated on weekends...!

A sauna is always nice and you can get one here. Most of the staff are nice (especially the cleaner Ronatta). However the prices are ludicrously high considering the poorly maintained facility. The kitchen is filthy and the standards are worse. The building and equipment have major problems and the owners do not care. They refuse to put the needed capital and time into their business and it shows. I have no doubt the Health Unit would shut them down after a proper investigation. The owners Al and Cali raised the prices without fixing or improving anything. I can only recommend this place if you've got money to waste, call ahead to book one of the few decently maintained saunas, and do nothing else there apart from sauna. The owners do not deserve your custom, but you'll be hard pressed to find another place to sauna without buying your own sauna.

Staff very friendly, the food tasted great, and it was quick service despite the Saturday lunch rush. I really enjoy going here. Awesome milkshakes (they even mix the flavours if you ask!)

I love that they use recyclable packaging for their call-ahead/take out food, so that alone gets me. The food is tasty but something is usually missing in my order and I have to call back and ask for it again. Check your order before you drive away.

Their breakfasts are amazing, and their saunas really help you unwind after a long delay at work. Their staff is amazing, too!

Whether it's going for a sauna or enjoying a meal Kangas has never disappointed me. The staff are great and super friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming.

Wanted a home cooked meal I didn't cook myself. Kanga delivered that. Turkey burger was homemade. Plentiful coffee refills. Very pleasant staff. Will go again and again

I guess if you like places that make soup on a dirty kitchen floor, you'll like it here. First time here in 10 years. Wasnt even a good Eggs Benedict. Will never be back after witnessing that

Love and miss this place!

Love getting a good steam on at Kangas. Always refreshing and invigorating. Small sauna for 2 people is $30 for 90 minutes. Each sauna features a change area, shower area and sauna at the back. Bucket of ice available upon request so you can drink ice cold water to keep from getting dehydrated (styrofoam cups provided). You can but toiletries and rent towels at the front desk if you don't have everything you need on hand.
